….if I should buy this new Brother Ali joint,  I come to thought that maybe I should save my money and blog for free about how many times I listened to Common’s verse today on “The Truth” off of Pharoahe Monch’s “Internal Affairs” album about 10yrs ago…The name of the song (The Truth) is just as simple as it sounds but Common literally flipped it and made you think for a second..

Sometimes in life, what you dont know probably wont hurt you..but if you don’t know this song, you probably need to…its the truth..literally.

Enough with the spiritual shit…we’re gangsters right?…As gangster as Lane Kiffin talking about Urban Meyer; calling him a cheater.

Im at the Post Office today…I recieved an email, and this is my ringtone…To my luck,  im standing in from of a (I can be wrong about this mans age) 70yr old man..He taps me on my shoulder and asked me what am I doing with Freda playing on my phone….He goes on the tell me that he still has this record in his basement and was his deceased wifes favorite song….She sung her heart out on this joint with the sassiest attitude that would even make  Flo (The Supremes) +Patti Labelle think twice about who was the “H.F.I.C”.

But wait..

How could I forget Millie Jackson pushing the envelope with this..

Decided to call this….2/28/09

After  many weeks of inconsistent blogging….a few emails questioning “lack of effort” on previous blog postings, and  hours chatting in between off-setting USA to UK hours- We’ve finally came up with the best excuse on why things haven’t been to our blog readers favor……We blame it on the joint declaration signed back in 1941 between (then) USA President Roosevelt and (then) British Prime Minister Churchill. They started the “Atlantic Charter/Conference” 68 years ago to discuss positive war aims during World War 2….well….It wasn’t as successful as planned. The 7 Day Theory Blog started off as a good idea as well….lack of effort led it to basically nowhere due to lost interest and no time to impress some readers eyes. At the same time- Major Surveillance is still up and running, but is only updated when Lee Majors drops another tape.

Heres the 1st installment of our new found and promised consistency-

UK and USA never looked so promising right?…..Right.

As I mentioned before- in between the limited chat time both I (Dot) and Lee Majors have found; we’ve pretty much came to an agreement that it’ll be cool to link up and maybe do a few things and come out with frequent tapes upon these random conversations about our favorite lifetime tracks.

This tape was actually supposed to be delivered during Valentines Day, our inconsistency kicked in and now you have it the last day of  February. We’re so caught up in getting out of winter- we’re in heavy conversations about cookouts, ladies, dancing and intoxication; we’ve decided to hold you all down with our favorite joints to play on that nice Saturday morning while you scrub that old ass grill down, clean your livingroom, hang out with your lady/man, or while you’re even washing that car. Depending on ones age- you may/may not appreciate this, but sometimes some things aren’t for everybody as you will definately find out with what we put out.
